The impression was made on NJ native, who then called the local company to purchase fire extinguishers for his race shop. Belmont, a man who seems never to meet a stranger, quickly befriended owner partner Greg Gore and the two entities have enjoyed a decade-long team sponsorship partnership. “Andy was from here,” said Gore. “I knew of him racing in Winston Cup and knew of him racing locally, so when he called us needing fire extinguishers, we ended up talking about racing.
